its a 45 auto, and yes I could make one with other stones as long as they fit into the end of the bullet shell.

I have iridescent blue crystals, white iridescent, and clear as pictured. I don't have any others on hand (but I could get other options next time I go rock shopping) I do put deer antler and crab claws in the bullet shells as well.
