The listing, $$LAST$$ GREEK COIN WITH GIN!! has ended.

Another GREEK coin? Took pictures of front and back!! I don't know much about this coin!! Was cleaning out some of my old things I picked up in Afghanistan in 2003 and ran across this coin, So, thought I'd put it on Listia! Got it from a old Antique shop in Afghanistan...I use to collect coins, but have gotten out of that and switched to Stamps and Comics! If anyone has info on this...would be glad if you added your comments!!
As always, This is coming from China...so shipping is 4 to 5 weeks! You know the old saying, "On a slow boat from China!" Well it's true! All Listia rules apply! Free Shiping as always!! Last coin I offered was GINNED in less than 24 hours!
GIN is set 66666 credits, so don't miss out on this one of a kind coin! Haven't seen any of these on Listia!! Good Luck everyone! China Mike

Sorry caberney, I was the one that looked up the information. If you look up greco-bactrian coins, you will find this and many like it. The greek specifically greco-bactrian had a very unique style.

I am not sure what makes you think this is a greek coins. On the face side I see a perosn with a hat but form the angle it might be something else on the back I see to horses and riders but again from the angle I can make out any of the legend. I think I would guess that it is more of a medal than a coin. Coming from Afghanistan it could be turn of the century or later British. Could you get a more direct on picture of the coins front & back. I will gladly help research if I can get a clearer picture or some idea what the legend says. Does the lettering appear to be greek letters?

I wonder if you could give the diameter of the coin, if possible. I'm trying to make out the words on it as well. Any chance for a more straight on pic? Thanks Michael, and it is a fantastic coin! F,B&W
