I'm bidding. I will bet there's a flurry of bids at the end, and one lucky sniper will get it.

Don't know why I even bid, I have like 40 lighters of all varieties, even a couple of vintage colibri's Did you know they once made the flat "automatic" wick and fluid type lighters. They've been around a long time. They haven't made the old style in a while, but still a quality brand.

I have a vintage Mylfam lighter that's supposed to be worth a lot of bux. Got it for nearly nothing in an odd lot of old lighters. Colibri stayed up with the times, went to butane very early on. They have a reputation for quality. Of course, back in the day they were made in Europe, France mostly if I remember right, but some were made in West Germany back when there was such a place. I have one that's strange, it's from the Pan Am building pharmacy, probably from the 50's, but has no actual brand name on it. Mostly, I have Ronson, Zippo, and a few rarer birds like a vintage Penguin that saw duty in Vietnam. If you find any Penguin or Duraflame lighters with Military unit insignia's on them, let me know. They're rare and valuable. You see, Zippo would do like Army or Marine lighters, but not units since they were too small of runs for them. Duraflame and Penguin would do small runs. Actually, they'd make the badges and put them on existing lighters. I saw one collection of over a 100 with various units on them, new in the box, never used. Couldn't afford to buy the whole collection, and that was the only way the guy would sell it. They look like zippo lighters pretty much other than the insignias. There is also a ww2 lighter that's just a glowing wick. The idea being the little glow wouldn't show up like a lighter or match and get them shot. You heard three on a match is bad luck? That comes from the war, they would light as many as they could on one match due to a shortage of matches. By the third one, the sniper would be zeroed in on the match, and the third one would get shot.

Remember, you're looking for a unit designation and or nickname. Maybe a logo like a wolf or whatever, not the generic Army, Navy or whatever. Like in Pappy Boyington's black sheep, they were VMF 214. You find the real deal of one of those, you're in the money.

They're rare, you're most likely to find them at estate sales.
