This is a Dwarf plant it only grows 3 to 6 feet tall. You will want to plant this in a pot. This plant needs full sun except during seeding period which then it needs half sun and part shade. Plant the seed in a horizontal position. Water daily but not to much loves dry.

Soil: Well drained
Sow: Plant 1/4" deep in horizontal line ( lie down position).

How old is the plant in the 1st picture?

I have no idea I got seeds last year and started my own plants. I have had some stolen when my husband was in the hospital (people helping take care of watering) and some die ???? I do know that if you do what you should you can have a pretty plant 8 in to 12 in three min the maybe four. Summer months do better.
