I'm from Canada. I did my research and found US phones are different from ours. ALL our phones require sim cards. I also found out you guys have a hell of a time unlocking your phones. Is it true it's illegal to have a third party unlock a phone? The S3 isn't that expensive anymore as the S5 is out now. Still a good deal if I was in the states but from all I've read, I wouldn't use any of your carriers.

Are you sure it doesn't take a SIM card? Virgin takes SIM cards don't they? Here in Canada they do. All carriers here do. :)
