Does this work through a modem. I have cable and the Netgear WPN 824 rounter I got off of ebay drops me from the internet. Does this Belkin have ports that you can hook it up to other computers too? Can you give me the model # please so I can go check it out. Thanking you in advance for your info.

I copy and pasted the specs, it says ver.4002. not sure which is model number. also P57612-B ..let me know if that's what you looking for. yes, You hook it up to you main computer (that is connected to internet via cable) then it will broadcast a signal to however many other computers you want it to.
