I am new to this site and I looked in the member help and I didn't find a understandable answer to my question which is when there is only one other bidder and I place a bid higher than their bid several times right away it says I was outbid,can you tell me why is that?,

Its because they put in a bid higher then what you put in. Like the item is 299. Someone put a bid of 500 in then you put a bid of 450 in. They are the higher bidder.
