499 is a great starting bid. You just want her to give it to you for nothing? These people do pay out of pocket to ship our items to us. Plus, SHE MADE THIS. That's even more time and effort too on top of paying our shipping costs for us.
Don't forget that offering free shipping period is a privilege, not a right. She could charge a few bucks. 499 is very fair.

I agree with swishersweet...anytime free shipping is used 499 is a fare starting price...people need to factor in the coat of shipping supplies, gas to the post office etc. Good luck with your auction! I LOVE homemade products! I do a few myself that I'm gonna start listing!
