Hi, I'm a fairly new listia member, I've emailed support team several times with no response. How do these women set the bid so that anyone who tries to bid on the item gets outbid by 1 bid--CONSTANTLY and not just one, lots. How does a new member who hasn't learned the tricks of the trade bid and have a fair chance. I have already tried bidding on several of yours....each time I'm outbit by one.Help please!!!
hmmm...i'm not sure if there is a 'set' way to do that or not...what mostly happens is someone will place a bid according to how many credits they are willing to spend on the item...then that is their max bid so if others bid on the same item they will be outbid unless their own desired credit limit is reached...like on the kites for example, if i wanted a set of them badly, i would bid 1200 credits...no one knows what another person has set as their own bid so it does get competitive at times.
i personally, am always willing to do a GIN for someone...like the items of mine you keep missing out on..if you wanted certain things, i would list them in a GIN which can be instantly won
thank you so much.....that was really help full......now you just need to tell me what GIN means and how do you set a limit without it being seen. don't know the steps in setting that up. you have a lot of really cute--and use-able diecuts!!1will have to give you my "wish" list
no one can see what your bidding limit is on an item...or your email messages to or from another person...however, questions and comments are available on the auction sites...a GIN is 'get it now' and is meant exactly for that reason...some listians are willing to set one up for someone who requests certain items and would rather not go through the bidding process of taking a chance of being outbid..appreciate the compliments regarding my auctions! thanks, barb
