The listing, 7 Inch Google Nextbook Tablet Computer has ended.
This auction is for a used 7 inch Google Nextbook tablet computer. I got it at Walmart in Dec., 2013.
I thought it would be similar to an Ipad or Kindle Fire, but it isn't. It has an Android operating system. However, unlike many android devices, you can't use this as a cell phone. It has wifi and a google chrome browser. It will connect to the internet via wifi, but you have to be very close to a modem or router (within 30 feet) to be able to pick up a signal strong enough to surf the web or download anything. It only has 4 GB of storage, so it won't hold many apps, songs, videos, or pics. (Not nearly enough storage for me.) It does have a micro sd card slot, supposedly for more storage, but cards don't fit very securely in it, so it is easy to lose one. I've lost 6 or 7, so far. I tried taping the slot, but then the card isn't recognized. It has a camera, but it is front facing and so it is hard to get the thing to focus well enough to take pictures and videos other than selfies. The speakers aren't very loud. There is a jack for headphones. Even with headphones, the volume doesn't get very loud.
The battery lasts an hour on a charge. It takes 4 hours to charge up with its home charger.
It also has a few small scratches on the back, but it works.
Will ship via Parcel Post to Listia Verified United States addresses only. Shipping date: 8/3/2014 due to being on SSDI and getting paid once a month.
