FREE: 1914 Proprietary 1/4c Overprint WOW

The listing, 1914 Proprietary 1/4c Overprint WOW has ended.

The proprietary stamp was, in essence, a "war tax" and was attached to medicines and perfumes back in the day to prove the required taxes were paid.

The overprints was one of many types used by various companies to identify their stamps, and sometimes was intended as a means of advertising, too.

I used to offer large group of stamps with low GIN....
But since people are re-listing them, one by one for profit...
Well, I guess I will offering smaller groups LOL
