1940 Detroit MICH Jan 24 postmark.
There is a number 2 in the round postmark as well, not sure what that signifies, to Periodical Publishers' Service Bureau, Inc.
This cover has a great cancel that reads AIR - MAIL SAVES TIME with an image of an old time plane, probably (maybe) the same one shown on the 6 cent or 5 cent airmail stamp (?) with Susan B. Anthony, Suffrage for Women
The other cover Stamped NATIONAL AIR MAIL WEEK MAY 15 - 21 1938, "The Plow City" MOLINE, ILLINOIS with image of old airplane above globe
The Moline postmark is a DUPLEX cancel (Duplex cancel is a two-part cancel, one part containing the postmark, and the other part with the cancellation.) Six cent red eagle surrounded by blue air mail stamp with standard for that time, the dark blue and red trim around the edges border to signify this is an airmail envelope
