thick and heavy!!As a first year computer science student our supplied text is okay providing you've already passed the course - esoteric and over technical. This book follows a similar 'track', missing nothing required by the serious student of C++ and does an altogether brilliant job. Having bought several other tomes this is the best by far. The professional approach would not be wasted on the amateur individual wanting to do it right either. Why didn't it get 10/10? Only because I must be absolutely fair and can not say it's 'the best' as I have not yet read 'them all'!
