Handmade Ninja Turtle Tear Bear paper piecing embellishment. Made from expensive thick handcrafted 150gsm-165gsm mulberry paper. Which makes this 3D with a fluffy realistic look. The outfit was made with cardstock and glitter cardstock. This turtle measures approx. 3 1/2 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide. I used a pattern from Designs on Cloud 9 to make this.

Definition: Tear bears are circles, ovals and similar shapes torn from mulberry paper to give it a fluffy real like look and assembled into the shape of a teddy bear before being glued together.

There are many uses not limited to scrapbooking layouts, cards, framed with a picture, magnets. The possibilities are numerous!

This is really neat! I've never heard of "Tear Bears". I would fan you to make it easier to see what you have up, but I apparently have too many people I've fanned. Something about a ratio of people who have fanned me to people I have fanned. :(
