Questions & Comments
how do you categorize coupons. because i'm new to using coupons
Thank you for stopping by :) I am not an expert by any means! and since we have only one local store to shop at what I like to do is when I first got started trying to get organized was to.... go down the store isles and sort them by how my local store organize their isles.
I am sure others have different methods... care to share??
I'm new[ish] to couponing, as well. However, I have found the easiest method for sorting couposn (for me, anyways) is to seperate by Hygene, Cleaning, Frozen Section, Diary.. etc. It makes it easiest for me so that I know where to flip to once I get to a section.
I sort mine like Jerrica but I also use the binder method. Make my shopping list, browse the ads for deals and then transfer my coupons that are already sorted into categories into my binder. I then use a dry erase marker to put a check mark on the plastic page over the coupon once the item is in my buggy. I keep the rest of my coupons with me in case I find a deal but... Its easier to see what I'm going to use with the binder :) Hope this helps everyone! Great auction, to bad I have more coupons than this would hold!
