I purchased this bra online at Frederick's of Hollywood website a few months ago. It is gorgeous and was so excited to get it.

Unfortunately once it arrived the band was too tight. I kept it hoping that I would lose some weight (but it still doesn't fit), so I am sharing it for all of you on Listia. It is New Without Tags--I have only tried it on twice since it was mailed to me in the original Frederick's bag. That is probably less than some of the bras you buy in stores, LOL!

Details - This design is called the Va-Va-Voom Satin Full-Figure Bra and is still available on the Frederick's of Hollywood website for $38.50. Color is officially called "Ultra violet" but really is a more of a bright pink fuschia like shown in the photos. The size is a 32 DDD / 32 F. Please check out the Frederick's website for their size chart.

We are a smoke-free, pet-friendly home. After taking these photos, I put the bra straight into a padded envelope to wait until it is shipped (for free!, with tracking!) to it's new home. I will be happy to take it out for more pictures or measurements if needed-just ask!

I know! I got my first job in high school so that I could go to a "real" store and buy a proper bra for my "blessings" after wearing too small bras since like 5th grade. I thought that was an "aha" moment. Then, I went to Europe a few years ago and got fitted there and now buy a lot of my bras from stores/brands abroad and that was even more an "aha" moment because for once I didn't feel frumpy or chubby by default due to the ladies!

I have 3 other bras in this style now (one band size up) and refer to them as my "comfy bras". They're the ones I wear all the time whenever I can!

I think the cups here are really supportive without forcing your boobs into weird unnatural positions (like some of my bras that have molded styles or are push up). The three-panel design in the front makes them really strong and the straps are nice and wide at the base where they meet the cups too).

While it is an underwire bra, it is covered well. And in my experience the poking/pinching of this quality line of bras is near zero as long as you have the correct size. The first Frederick's bra I ever had in the full figure Satin Line (not a Va-Va-Voom but made with this material in a DD+ size) lasted 8 years of 2-3 times a week wear before I gave it a graceful retirement...

While I was bummed that this one didn't fit me, I knew I was going to put it on Listia right away instead of mailing it back. I love that Listia lets me share great things FOR FREE. Goodness knows I have used it a lot to get things we need for our family.
