Ahhhh ... The soothing beauty of a seven inch freshly polished and gorgeous Agate!!!!!
I had to take a little health break from Hounding, but it's all good! I still went not to far and found beautiful stones waiting for me to cut and polish them, so in the meantime I went to one of my huge cases and pulled this fabulous big blue Brazilian Agate for you guys! It was just on the last day of being polished when I took it out, buffed it and gave it a lil kiss!!! God I love these pieces of art!!!!! Nature truly IS my religion!!!!!

This Agate has beautiful crystal clusters all thou out it! It is about 7 inches and the colors are from the darkest depths of blue to the brightest skies! I was going to keep this one but decided to see what we find next outing! Hoping I made the right choice!

The blue is dyed, but I do have many more untreated, yet beautifully polished!!!! Ill put up soon!!!!

Can't...my agates are mined from brazil with our group. we have a rate to pay to mine, flight costs and after you finally found some the dig alone is excruciating work! from there, we have to get them back safely, i polish, and color or not every single one of them....so as you can see it's not an inexpensive hobby, it's a way of life! to sell some of mine have gone for 1000's of dollars. i have a few in a museum.
