Is it just for books

Like it says in description above it is used for ebooks, surfing the web, music files, photo files, check email, check FB or other media websites, you can add a few apps, there is a YouTube tutorial on how to add apps to this device but it's main purpose is to store ebooks hence the name "Novel". Ok There is a way to turn this into a tablet and a You Tube Video on how to do it but I honestly tried twice and did not succeed. Maybe it is the wrong model number. This eReader's main function is to read books, check email, store MP4 & Pics and It has a Facebook already installed. You can surf the web as well but let me give it another try and I will post my findings tomorrow. For the time being, consider it a eREADER and bid accordingly. Thank you for being so patient :-) You are correct though, Listia is a lot less personal than it use to be and people seem to enjoy being rude rather than making friends, In the beginning, I met a lot of cool people on here some of which I consider my close friends and one which I call my sister :-) but those days seem long gone sadly. You are a sweetheart yourself though wish more were like you. ;-)

I am working on trying to root this to be fully functional android but have yet to make that happen. I will try again tomorrow, until then treat this auction as an eREADER auction with limited functions which include storing & reading ebooks, PDF etc. Storing MP4 videos & pic as well as surfing the web and using FB. you can watch youtube videos and such as well with wifi connection. Hopefully I can get this thing updated and root it as a tablet to include a play store. I will update tomorrow. Fingers crossed ;-)

This has been sitting in a drawer for a year, LOL I used it to read Shades of Grey and never really did anything else with it. I have read there was an update recently that allows full android access. When I used it there was not a Play store like a typical android there was a limited type of pandigital store that allowed a few apps. I am connecting to the internet with it right now and will try to locate the free update that is suppose to make this function like a typical tablet. I will update information as soon as I locate and load this update and let you know my findings. Thanks for your patience, I will be back on tonight with an update. Please keep in mind, this is a 2G device but can use SD for more storage so, Apps may be limited. I don't know for sure of course until I log on and update so let me get right on that for you. :-)

If you are looking for something for apps, I would suggest a tablet, you can of course log into Listia via the web site on this device but I am unsure about apps that are available. It is an android device but it's primary use is for users to store and enjoy media.
