By Christmas you should have a very nice blooming potful!!!
Start these in your choice of medium. I have even had success in water! When growth starts, lightly fertilize to get ready for buds to set in Fall and then watch the show!!!
This plant is 44 years old and it does need to be pruned as you can see in the photos!
It is the old fashioned variety of Schlumberga before all of the new hybrid colors were available to the public.
Photo #1 is a stock photo because my personal photo of my plant didn't show the color very well. I will take a new one this Christmas!
Photo #2 and #3 shows my mommy plant. She is not up for bid! BUT she will let you adopt her babies!!!
