any one that has been collecting for over 60 years, knows what a proof looks like. Proof is not just a term, it is a distinct process that a coin goes through. You may want to Google the proof process to learn how it is different.

I am a coin collector and I know what the process is for a proof coin.My question was: How do you know this is a Proof cent other than what it is marked? You might misunderstand my question.I am not saying that this coin is not a poof.The picture is too small to tell me anything other that what I read it saying that it is a proof.
