Is there more to it?
On the back it says 4 lip colors
4 eye shadows
2 blush and
1 face powder?
I only see 8 colors total. So is there another layer to the compact?

You are correct--there is a slide-out compartment underneath--I didn't even notice it! You have good eyes! And you can count way better than I can--lol. Underneath is the rest of what you don't see--blush, a brush, etc.
