NOTE: The scale appears to have smudges and scratches, but it's the plastic inner case that makes it look that way.
This came with my Stamps.com account activation. I love the service but, I like free standing scales with a higher weight capacity. This scale works perfectly. I used it twice and put it back in the box. I used it once more to take a photo to prove that it works. It's currently priced at $50.00 to purchase on the Stamps.com website.

Today is the day ! so exciting, quick question. This can function as a stand alone scale correct? I mean I do not have to have a stamps.com account or hook it up to a printer for it to work? I have looked at quite a few of these over the last few days and some of them have these restrictions. Yes, it is a stand alone scale and you are correct, this scale does not have to be have to be hooked to a printer but, it does have to Integrate directly with a PC or Mac computer/laptop with a USB cable that is included.
