Welcome to Listia!! Thank you for your kindness :) The best, fastest and 99.9% sure of returning you more credits than you spend are Postage Stamps and $25.00 Amazon gift cards. I have used these when I need to build my credits up fast. Once you complete several auctions with positive feedback scores, you get your sellers wings.
Once you get that badge, you can list an item with the highest bid you want, within reason, and the bidders can use that option to end the auction right then.

Example: I list a $25.00 Amazon card with a GIN of 32,000 credits. That is a very low GIN, but, you have made an increase in what you spent.

I have found, for me, saving up credits and bidding on those gift cards, ebay, grocery stores, Amazon, is how I turn credits into $$.

I hope that helps! Since you are new, it would be best to get a card or stamps, write your Listia name on a card and take a picture of them together. This proves to bidders you actually have the item and are not trying to scam!

I have been on here for a couple years and I still show my Listia name on every picture, every time.People are leery of new Listians anyway, so free shipping and the picture should ease their minds.

Last but not least, You HAVE to send your people their wins. The fastest way to sink yourself is to not follow through. I put tracking on everything. I got burned so many times, it is well worth the extra to prevent this. Listia usually sides with the winners, so you can say you have shipped it, but, without proof, like the tracking number, you will lose the credits and the items.

I do not mean to scare you off, but, this is reality. If YOU bid on things, watch out for the very large shipping fees. Some folks make a living on shipping fees. Listia has rules about how much you should be able to charge for shipping.
