Description

The listing, Hammered Aluminum Chafing Dish - Shipping FREE with GIN has ended.

This chafing dish is 7 1/2" high and 9" in diameter. There are no markings that I can find. I am not sure the glass dish is original, but it is vintage.

Winner pays exact shipping. If you send me your zip code I can let you know what shipping will be. However shipping will be free with GIN.
GIN means Get It Now. If you click the Get It Now option you will end the auction and pay the Get It Now (or GIN) amount stated. It is similar to Buy It Now on Ebay.

I take Paypal or money order for payment. I will also take concealed cash although I don't recommend it. I have not had any problems and have always received the cash, however, I can't be responsible for lost payment. Another option that has worked nicely is if you would like to send stamps for cost of postage.

I am sorry I cannot do free shipping from the start.

I will mail within 7 to 10 business days of the end of the auction and/or when payment is received. I live in a very rural area and get to town about once a week.
I regret to add that I need payment for shipping within 7 days OR at least contact me for other arrangements. If you bid and do not contact me or pay shipping, I will keep your credits and relist the item. As I wrote, I regret this, but I have had too many people who have not responded to my emails or will not want to pay shipping and want their credits back.

I proudly reuse and recycle packing envelopes and materials.

Thank you so much for your interest! Have fun!

I am not sure, but I think there is suppose to be a small cup that goes underneath it to hold a candle or some type of fuel. I have seen different style of this with and without the container.

I am not sure, but sterno could be too hot...? I have never used one os I don't know for sure. I think a candle would be safer...

Just watched a video and found out you do use Sterno in a holder under the chafing dish. I will try to buy one of these if I win. Then to use it the purpose of the dish is just to keep food warm not to cook the food. Next you need a stick lighter to light the Sterno in the holder. Then put water in chafing dish and then your choice of food in the glass bowl. The Sterno can keep the food warm for 4 hours. Hope the info will help anyone having questions. Great Auction! Hope I win! Good Luck!
