A gift edition of three hardbound classic essays by C.S. Lewis which started as talks on the BBC during WW II. Printed in 2005 by Harper San Francisco. Includes: "What Christians Believe' ; Paved With Good Intentions; and 'Made For Heaven'. This set of three 4" x 6" volumes would make a lovely gift, as it's in pristine condition. Still has that "new" smell. Non-smoking household.

Tolkien, was a Christian apologist, literary critic, academic, radio broadcaster and essayist known for his fiction, especially The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia and The Space Trilogy. Lewis had been baptized in the Church of Ireland at birth, but fell away from his faith during his adolescence.
