So true. And when it comes to remakes...sometimes the original is way better, but then sometimes the remake is better. I didn't even know that it was a remake...now I need to find the original one :-) thanks for some new info.

Oh your very welcome most the time most movies are remakes just always assume lol! They don't make movies or tv shows like they did when I was a kid and even before I was born in 1967 yes I am 46 yrs old not embarrassed to share my age its a number not who I am lol!

I still watch I Love Lucy and it came out before I was born ha ha and shhh but I still watch from time to time The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family on You tube lol

No..they don't! 1969 and will be 45 in December. I still watch The Brady Bunch too on TVLand. Remember the Saturday Morning Cartoons? The Bugs and Tweety show? The Sid & Marty Kroft shows? A bowl of cereal and in front of the TV was the start of a perfect Saturday..now Saturday shows are just crap if you don't have cable. But some kids now a days think the shows we watched are stupid, but have yet to realize that when they have kids...and a bunch of new shows are out..they'll tell their kids how the shows they watched are better than the ones now. It's a vicious cycle :-)

December what my birthday is December 27th lol! I have a friend long time childhood friend who's birthday same day as mine but we are one year apart he is older by one year :)

Yeah I remember all those shows cartoons on Saturday morning but I think when our kids get older as mine are teenagers and two of them are adults they will tell there kids that the shows we watched were better than some of theres :)

As for kids today yeah thats a catch 22 your right vicious cycle that most shows our kids watch some of them are mostly reality tv I mean I remember when MTV and VH1 and them were music video tv not this crap they play now. My daughter made a comment yesterday to her dad to funny said that MTV should play Music Videos ha ha we both laughed we told her they did when they first came out in 1980 they played nothing but music and did music news to loved that.

Nice thing is we can still find allot of our old shows and shows older than us online and few channels like TV Land is playing some of the old stuff. But I also remember having the old tv with rabbit ears that had those channels that we go for free the old tv's that had the two dials and I can't think for the life of me but you could go to all sorts of stations and watch the good oldies. Listen to us we sound like our parents and our grandparents ha ha oh well thats okay because our shows and even then we did not sit in front of the tv either all the time nor did we have computers or laptops like now or cell phones we had bikes outside lemonade stands and played outside lol
