The listing, Nokia 1260 (AT&T) - Hackable LCD? has ended.

This an old cell phone with pre-paid AT&T/Cingular service; AT&T discontinued TDMA service in March 2007 making this pretty useless as a phone.

For the hardware hackers out there...

According to repair4mobilephone.org this has fundamentally the same internals as the 3360, which would include the NXP PCF8511 LCD controller...

No. It seems to have some exposed pins, I'm guessing that is how AT&T programmed it.

Not really, there were something like 90 million TDMA subscribers in the US at one point. TDMA ended in 2008 and there were a lot folks with dead phones.

Hardware hackers have been using the Nokia LCDs since then. You can even buy the LCD (plus keyboard assembly) out of the Nokia 3310 from Sparkfun.com for a few dollars plus shipping. Here, you get the whole phone, charger and battery with free shipping.

Great deal, but definitely not unique.
