Why is the shipping so high on this item. You can get flat rate small box with insurance and tracking for $5.80. You could put 100 of these in that box.

That is true however it will not cover the additional cost that is involved with sending a item. As we are not a privet seller but a company and many don't worry about just a few of the things listed below.

now here is why it is what it is..
It's to cover fees like, the fees that paypal charges for the money transfer. insurance - taxes because those payments are taxable income
packaging - labels - ink for the printer - These are just a few..
Most people don't consider these items as they are not a company.
Now Listia allows up to 6.,00 for jewelery items,,So as you see I am well below that number...
Also my S&H does not even take into account the manpower that it takes to process a order, We wholesale and try and introduce our items at the lowest rate we can..

I think the offset is you'd probably get quadruple the bids with free shipping. Many commercial operations offer free shipping online and at larger cash auctions. They tend to make more than their shipping back in added bidding revenue. But it is your choice to make.

This is very true in my wholesale market I do quite well. This along with how we list here is a Tax issue for us.
