It interfaces with your PC via high-speed USB 2.0 and works with the included or other video processing software to create either MPEG1 or MPEG2 files including video suitable for burning to standard DVD discs. It ships with DV, USB, AV, and power cables as well as video conversion software. It also includes a full year ADS warranty. This device is ideal for taking analog video material (like VHS recordings) and converting them to digital video, but it can also be used in a pinch as a way of transferring Mini DV material from a digital camcorder to a PC that doesn't have a Firewire connection.
