Here are more Pre-Confederation coins from New Brunswick, featuring Queen Victoria on obverse. The first is an 1864 with a "short 6" and the second is an 1864 with a "long 6". The part of the number 6 the price book speaks of is the top, or the stem of the six... you can see the difference in the pictures.
