A beautiful twist on a pair of classic pearl earrings, the pearls are 6mm, they have a beautiful luster and are a creamy white. These are saltwater pearls. The setting is 14k gold hallmarked on each post Co 14KT. One back is 14k,I replaced the other back with a 10k back.

Do you mean cultured/freshwater? Saltwater pearls are very rare. Are they new or used? Thanks & good luck :)

They are saltwater cultured pearls, not freshwater. Saltwater pearls are not rare, they are just of a much better quality than fresh water pearls. They are cultured by Japan, Tahiti, Hawaii to name the most prominent. These are Akoya pearls. They are pre-owned.

Oh I see. I thought you meant non-cultured saltwater pearls, which to my understanding are rare.

Are there visible signs of wear on the metal or pearls?

No, there is no wear on the metal or the pearls, they were only worn a few times, I lost the back on one, I replaced it with a 10k back.
