Description

The listing, 1916-1930 Standing Liberty Silver Quarter coin has ended.

The coin in the scan is the coin you will get. The date has worn away, but these quarters were made during the years 1916-1930.

I am not a coin collector, so feel free to explain anything, or ask a question.

Fun to own a piece of history, or maybe good to own a little silver? The composition of the coin is 90% silver, 10% copper.

I suppose you can go to a coin shop, to buy one that hasn't been circulated. I think that's why I like this one - I think of the people who lived in our country in the twenties and thirties, and how they didn't spend "dollars". They paid for things with coins...

One thing I always liked about coins is that when you hold them you could almost feel the stories they could tell if they could talk of course. I don't know why but they always got my attention~ Who might have held that coin for a day? A President maybe! Nice Auction!~

The melt value of the silver is guaranteed to be worth it - this coin is 90 percent silver.

Looks like the melt value today for this coin is $6. 75. As a collectible, old coin the value is ?

I don't seem to be having much luck with this listing...
Maybe Listia isn't the right place to post old coins...
