I have had this wonderful gold cross for 10 years. It is most likely older than that, but I do not know how old. I do remember that it was $98.00 10 years ago. I WOULD IMAGINE IT WOULD BE WAY MORE THAN THAT NOW
It's stamped 14kt Italy and can be put on a good size chain. It measures 1 & 3/4 inches from the top to bottom (not including the ring for the chain) with the ring for the chain it is 2 inches from top to bottom and 1 & 1/4 inches from side to side. There is also a heart and OR marked on it. That may be the jeweler that made it? The Jesus is a silver color. I don't know if that is sterling or white gold. This is one stunning piece here. I no longer wear it I wear a silver one now so I decided to let it go on here for someone that may want to wear it and enjoy it instead of it sitting and not being used. It'ds a pretty good size as you can see from the pics of it with a quarter for comparison.

Hahaha. Thank you. You made me laugh and cry at the same time. :)(: No this Cross does not come with the quarter.The quarter that you see there has a obverse mark on the reverse side. If you look behind the back of Washington's head in the pics you will see a dent/bump. On the reverse of this quarter it looks like the obverse was partially stamped on the reverse.(wish I would have put pics of the reverse side) It's one of the coins my Dad left me. I put it in a box with the Cross long ago when I was going through some things from my Dad and forgot about it until I found the Cross so I used it to reference the size of the Cross.This is one of my MOST favorite coins from my Dad!!

After I listed the Cross I took this coin and put it in my bank with some others that I intend to leave to my son just as my Dad did for me.

I am glad that you dropped by my listing. I remember my Dad when I was a kid talking about this coin, saying it was his lucky two headed George. lol I know that probably doesn't make since to you, lol But it makes me remember my youngest youth that I can remember. I have put a note with it for "MY" son that it must never be sold and a story similar to what I have just told you. Hopefully he will give it to his son. Thank you for the great memories.
