This adorable little Mandolin plays Anker's Away My Boy when you turn the handle. As you can see it works by the little bumps hitting the tuning rungs and making a sound, old world style. It would make a great gift for someone in the Navy, just getting out of the navy or someone who loves Old world Mandolin music makers. I got this when my son was in High School and in the JROTC. They were having a Silent Auction fund raiser and I got this wonderful little toy. It has been sitting in my hutch for several years now and the time just seems right to pass it on to someone else who can appreciate it. So I hope when you see this it just might "strike a cord" with you.
