This is a pin I recently found on my thrift store adventures. This odd style of pin, with the backing design is something I have seen before. The thrift store runs on donations from independent artists, estates and what people just don't plain want anymore. The pin is about 2 and a half inches in length. The whole pin is of a bronze/brass toned metal. To me the whole design has kind of a steam punk feel to it. With intricate filigree on either side, 3 peridot colored gems and 4 emerald colored gems sit in between the swirled design. On one side, a black metallic crescent moon frames the center gem. The opposing side is blank, it is difficult to tell if this was on purpose or all part of the design. The pin features a roll over "c" clasp. All gems are present, this pin is in great condition!!!
