Description

The listing, Size 8 Sterling Silver and Semi-Precous Citrine Ring *BNWT* has ended.

This Auction is for a Semi-Precious Citrine Gemstone and Sterling Silver Ring. This ring is a SIZE 8 and is really stunning and as a "Merchant Stone" is perfect for anyone who is in business or getting started in a new money making venture. This has two pear shaped Citrine's that are opposite of each other and they measure 7/8th" from the top of the the top stone to the bottom of the lower stone. I took a picture of the stamp that is inside the the band for the Sterling Silver and in the interest of full disclosure I will say it is a mis-stamp where you can see all off the 2 and the 5 but barely make out the 9. Since I worked directly with my artisans I know this is .925 Sterling Silver and you won't be unhappy.

This is BRAND NEW WITH TAGS and it Retails @ $89.95

Some info on Citrine;

Natural Citrine is a premier stone of manifestation, imagination, and personal will. Carrying the power of the sun, it is warm and comforting, energizing and life giving. It stimulates the chakras like the sunlight of spring, clearing the mind and stirring the soul to action. Its frequency awakens creativity and imagination, and sustains the process of transforming dreams and wishes into tangible form. With its pure yellow energy, Citrine encourages fullness of life, fresh beginnings and new pursuits.

Called The Merchant's Stone for its properties of increase in the cashbox, sparkling yellow Citrine not only assists in acquiring wealth, but helps in maintaining it. It is a stone of abundance and manifestation, attracting wealth and prosperity, success and all things good. It also encourages generosity and sharing good fortune.

Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Please Have Fun, Good Luck, and Happy Bidding!

I will say this ring really is nice. I had one of those discussion with myself over the ring. It goes like this...I only have 8 fingers...I only have 8 fingers and this ring would only fit on two of them lol I liked this one a great deal not only for it's beauty but because I love the properties of Citrine. I kept putting it to the side and putting it to the side and finally today spirit moved me to put up because someone out there needs it. Probably more than ya' needed to know as I lead you down the road of a crazy woman's thoughts. tee hee. Seriously I honestly think this ring is both beautiful and its properties are amazing. Anytime you can have Form and Function in the same object I get all happy feeling. =) Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look and for being such a sweet person. Best of Wishes to you if you decide to bid=) ~Namaste

I do apologize for that but when you said Topaz I assumed you were December because Citrine was November. I do apologize for paying closer attention to that detail. Unless you are one of my 8 siblings or my child I don't know which bday stone is to the next except of course my own. Again my apologies.

Wha t is Te difference between the citrine and Amber topaz? The topaz has been my birthstone my whole like but now I am seeing the citrine in its place sometimes. I love amber topaz. Well, I thought it was ugly when I was a kid, but now I truly love it.

Okay I am going to do my best with your questions. If Topaz has been your Birthstone your whole life then you must be December baby and our birthstone is actually Turquoise. However fine jewelers didn't like that of course because Turquoise even at today's prices is still cheaper than that the other birth month stones so over the years it became the Blue Topaz. Now when Citrine is being listed as a Capricorn birthstone I have to assume it based more on theories of Astrological stones. Also Citrine and Yellow Topaz are two different stones. The best way to tell the difference is by the Moh's scale with Topaz being much her than Citrine. There are some chemical differences between the two. The kinds with words that I have a hard time saying and an even harder time spelling. Yellow/Amber Topaz we widely available until about 60 Years ago when it started to become harder and harder to find. Currently most of what is being sold as Yellow or Amber Topaz has been dyed so. There is still plenty in earth but to mine it would be really expensive. Since I believe in the Healing, Spiritual, and Metaphysical Properties of the stones then for the most part I try to stay away from stones that have been altered with the exception of a few such as Howlite and more recently after working with Mystic Topaz I have found it to be a great stone despite it's alteration. This piece here is Citrine. Also I don't mean in any way to insinuate that anyone who is selling "Amber or Yellow" Topsz is automatically taking white Topaz and dying or heat treating it. There is still some out there but it is really expensive. So price is another one of those really big difference between Citrine and Yellow or Amber Topaz. I hope I answered your question. If I didn't or you need clarification of something I didn't explain well enough feel free to keep to asking until I get it answered for you. Thank you for asking the GREAT question.=) ~Namaste

But you did answer my question though, so it's all good! I used to have real amber topaz necklace and earring set that I got for my 5th birthday (that was a long time ago, whaaaaay back in the 70s!) Unfortunately, I have no idea what happened to it. Perhaps I will find one again some day that reminds me of the one I had. Thank you so much for answering my question!

Happy Thanksgiving I know this will seem like a one up things but I have dealt with it my entire life my Bday is Christmas day. Everyone says the same thing every year Merry Birthday and Happy Christmas...it doesn't get funnier over time. They brought to my mother in a stocking. lol

On a funny side note, I was born on Thanksgiving Day. My poor mother didn't get any of the turkey she roasted!

Sorry I answered these backwards but wow if you could find that set and clean it up or let a jeweler clean it up you would either have a beautiful set to wear or you could always take the stones and re set them in a more "mature" setting. That would be so awesome.

I have seen yellow topaz, and it seems to me that it is not as warm colored than the amber topaz I remember. Is that a difference from dyed ones as opposed to naturally colored ones?

That is part of the problem is that most people can't tell. I can't tell and before I got Cancer I owned a store where Fine Jewelry was about 40 percent of our business and except for a few things like Jaspers and Agates which I can USUALLY tell but with Precious gemstones I can't tell. Now all Mystic gemstone is altered b/c that is what makes what it "Mystic" but honestly if you are going to buy from one of the big Jewelers just ask and legally they have to tell you and don't buy until they do. My hubby says he can tell because out of the side of his eye he can see that the light doesn't refract the same way. I would say he was full of bull but every time I have challenged him he has ended up being right. lol I just trust him now. tee hee

No Problem with being patient. I love your kind of questions. It is valid and it is the kind of question I want answered for people because I don't want people getting taken for their hard earned money. I figure it this way if you see Amber or Yellow Topaz but it is cheap or in the same ball park as all other Topaz it is probably fake.

I don't mind at all plus another Holiday bday person to talk to. I met a person in college who was born on Valentines day and I had another on Halloween so we called ourselves the Holiday club. So Welcome to the Holiday club=) Where no one remember your birthday and when they do they gotta run cause they have Holiday plans. lol No Worries and if you have others questions about Citrine and Topaz ask away.

Vickie I do my best to keep everyone on their toes=) The Yellow Stones the Two Focal Stones are indeed CITRINE the snaking stones that are between the two stones are the Topaz that people are talking about. I think you probably missed by Tirades about Mystical Topaz and then I found a few pieces to work with that were okay and then there were discussions about Topaz's about Birthstones. So is that clear as mud for ya? Tell me where I have confuzzled ya.=)
