Description

The listing, $2 Bill - Federal Reserve Note (FIRST AND SECOND PLACE WINNER!!!) has ended.

You are bidding on a $2 bill.. Its not in that great condition... So why would you bid on it? Besides the fact that its just cool to have... well its worth $2 so I mean what the heck. Its not the rarest ones but its not seen very often in circulation and its just cool. :-)

It was on the wall in a store and the stored closed up and I kept it around for a while in my wallet... NOW its up for bids..

Says all the basic Money stuff on it: This note is legal tender for all debts public and private. The United States of America - TWO DOLLARS.

Jefferson is on the bill. Its a 1976 series bill.

On the back is the Declaration of Independence, 1776 picture and text.

Best of luck... ohh you might be thinking what will the runner up get?? well thats a great question... Since officially there is no such thing as a second place winner, I wanted to give the person who does NOT win something special.... The catch... It will be a surprise but I promise it can be used in ANY store you you want and you can buy stuff with it. :-)

Who or what is a Slavin4u you ask.... well check out our company site and find out.... you can see our perfect eBay feedback as well and you can bid with confidence that you are getting only the best of the best!

Well call it what you want. I am just stating the facts -it is currency so it's against the rules. This auction will likely be pulled by Listia.

tyhana - seems to have cleared up the debate. Thanks for informing me and telling me before you flagged it though. I was worried when I first saw your comment you or someone else might get the idea that they could flag my auction and they could be going for the snitch batch (or the flagger one - whatever you call it).

The bill is collectible/out-of-circulation, qualifying it as an exception. The 2003 series ones may be removed, but the seller has provided enough information to show that it's the 1976 series.

tyhana - thanks - I was going to say if this gets flagged and removed I am not going to be very happy... It is collectible/out-of-circulation... I'm not saying its high quality collectible (I never lie - and I take lots of pictures so it shows well) but I am saying its quite old and some people might still want to collect it. I did however make the point that its still money and you can always spend it... And that goes with any US$ currency on here.. You can spend 500,000 credits for a penny and if you wanted you can spend it also, not the brightest idea but you can. :-)

This is America (and even if its not) I think everyone is allowed their opinion and I appreciate the fact that they can speak their mind. I'm ok with it, wars have been fought for people to not agree. :-)

if you concider an item collectible.... Well then that makes it collectible. I don't care what anyone says. If someone collects it, it's a collectible and as long as you mention you or someone collects an item in your description I would say it's allowed. People collect the brand new golden dollars and you can walk into a store and buy a... well not much with a dollar... but you can use it as currency so.... who's to say. Lots of people save &2 bills and lots of people spend them when cash is tight so we're all wrong and we're all rite. :) Great auction! List you stuff with confidence and mention that it's from your collection :)
