Up for auction is a The Tivo Box Series 2 has up to 80 hours of recording time. The Tivo service automatically records your favorite shows without videotape. It works with cable, digital cable, satellite and antenna. Choose your favorite programs and it will record every time it airs or just the new episodes. I comes with the original box, user guide, remote control, dvr, power cord, handy reference guide, poster how to start up guide. You would need to buy any of the following depending on what you have (cable, direct tv, etc)....Composite A/V cables, RF Coaxial Cable, Phone Cord, Phone Line Splitter, Data Control Cable, IR Control Cable, S-Video Cable.

The remote will need 2 AA batteries.

Doesn't have an HDMI input meeting with an HDMI cable into it and plug HDMI cable in to the tv and get a picture from it

No HDMI inpot or output. Does not record in HD.

No Hdmi connection. Does not record high definition. The remote works pointing at the DVR not the cardboard box.

Is there a subscription fee with this if you plug it into your cable. Also is there some type of cable card you have to insert into this if you put it on your cable TV. I saw something like the HD homerun that did exactly what this does but they said if you plug it into your cable TV subscription you have to get the cable card that they run in that digital cable boxes to be able pick up cable.

No it's just a recorder for shows, it's the original idea of a DVR
