Synopsis:
Danny has all the earmarks of a hustler, if not a hoodlum, but he has musical talents, for which Charlie puts him over for his own King Creole from Blue Shade owned by Maxie on Bourbon Street. Maxie hates to find his merchandise mishandled. Charlie is the only one on the street without Maxie's fingerprints on the cash register. Ronnie who is turned a pumpkin by Maxie helps Danny out on the run. Maxie keeps on their tail and fires at Ronnie who dies in Danny's arms. It is a lovely day for them both, though for a little while.
