Description

The listing, The *BEST* 1907 Indian Head Cent On Listia ***4 DIAMONDS & FULL LIBERTY*** SUPER SHARP DETAILS! has ended.

May be the best Indian Cent ever listed here! This has the sharpest details of any Indian cent listed on Listia.
I personally think it has been cleaned (why would someone wreck a perfect coin? got me..) just by the change of tones and patterns around the features and in the field. Other than that this would be a GEM BU coin.

***Still has mint luster and of course those details. 4 Diamonds and a super sharp full liberty. Be sure to enlarge the photos on this one folks. I took a close up of the Diamonds you don't want to miss. Weather this piece was cleaned or not it will look outstanding in any album. I may be wrong as to the cleaning but that is just my unprofessional opinion. And that doesn't take from the fact that this is an uncirculated Indian Cent.

Please be sure to check out my other listings. I have a lot of goodies to list in the next few days so spread the word. And bid bid bid! This is an AWESOME coin.

Shipped FREE with Delivery Confirmation in the US only. No International Shipping. Sorry.

***Here's my Gold Metal Bonus***
@ 10k credits I will add 5 early Wheat Cents
@ 14k credits I will add 5 early Wheat Cents and 5 Avg Circulated Indian Head Cents!
@ 18k credits I will add 5 early Wheat Cents, 5 Avg Circulated Indian Cents and a 2010 Red Book in NEW condition! -The Red Book is a price guide and reference book to US coins-
@ 24k credits you will get everything else I have mentioned plus a copy of the most recent eddition of "THE OFFICIAL A.N.A. GRADING STANDARDS for UNITED STATES COINS" !!! This is the easiest book to use for grading your coins.
If anybody is interested in seeing either of the books I have mentioned above listed, please mention it and I'll see what I can do. If there's enough interest I can even list them with a get it now. I have a couple of boxes of New books.

I guarantee you won't find another deal like this on listia!

Please enlighten everybody how exactly you figure folks are being ripped off. Also would love to see your coin you had "appraised" hahahah. I'm not even going to block you so you can respond. It's obvious by viewing your profile page that you just opened an account because your bored and thought it would be fun to trash folks auctions. You have "0" feedback, "0" completed auctions and 2 check-ins. Whats your problem? We would love to hear what exactly your claim is based on so ~please~, as I said, enlighten us all. I want to know exactly how "~yall~ are gettin ripped off bozo??? This " exactly what I listed it as, " THE BEST 1907 INDIAN HEAD CENT LISTED" :) GET A LIFE LOSER!

I want Listia to know, I am not trying to spam anyone or promote anything on this site. But this is a terrific site every new coin collector should add to their favorites or bookmark it. This site keeps their US Coin Valuation Guide pretty up to date and I actually keep it on my google tool bar.:

http://www.bestcoin.com/united-states-coin-pricing-guide.htm

The fellow that said the coin was worth $1 ,... I would like you to try using this guide instead of the one you have been using before you make any bad deals with your coins based on the guide you used to value my coin. Please take a look at this link.
I will also send it to you in case the link gets scrambled.

once you get to that site, if you scroll down they have a link to every type of US Coin minted. Click a type and they have valuations in just about every grade.

I'm a new collector. What exactly does 4 diamonds mean? I know you have a fine coin here just not to savvy on the terms... I also fanned you.

If you look at my second picture closely, you will see on the band hanging from the head dress that there are 4 tiny diamonds in the design. 4 diamonds is a way of describing the quality of detail on this particular type of coin. Some coins can be in great condition with super details but only have say 2 diamonds. Average circulated coins would have no diamonds normally. As the coin wears, so do the details of the diamonds, as well as the letters on the head dress that spell out LIBERTY. If a coin you see listed says "FULL LIBERTY" it means all of the letters on the band are readable. Just like folks describe a Buffalo Nickel as having "FULL HORNS" that just means the buffalo on the reverse has full details of the horn left and they have not yet been worn of. Some coins will have 1/2 horns, 3/4 horns...

Great question and I hope I helped you understand the term "FOUR DIAMONDS" a little better. If not, please just ask and I will find you a link that can do a better job than me. Sometimes it's easier to describe these details with pictures. I have extra copies of "The Official A.N.A. Coin Grading Guide" available if anybody would like to see me list one here please just ask. It's a must have for any seasoned collector down to the newest of collectors. It gives full details on every grade of every US Coin with illustrations for you to compare ~your~ coins too. It's an awesome book and I use it often.

thanks again and good luck,
Tony

Those are the kind of comments and questions I like to see. I really don't need anybody else telling me how much my items are worth. I am pretty sure I have the resources and for the most part, ~most~ of the time, the knoweledge , to grade and value my coins. But in reality, a coin really is worth..... What ever the highest bidder is willing to bid on it. Everybody has their own reasons for bidding on items, Who are any of us to tell someone something isn't worth "FREE" :)

Also wanted "DCMARCRUM" to check his valuation guide that he used and see if the price he came up with was for an "UN"-CIRCULATED 1907 INDIAN HEAD CENT. and not just an average circulated 1907. because yes in deed, an average circulated specimen of this great coin may be worth $1.00. And again, not trying to be rude but rather, Defending my item from a drive by comment.

I was waiting until the end of this auction to bid but it is getting carried away both in bids and comments~ Both are great!~ I am like a few others shocked at some of your received comments~ Did I say shocked? I meant to say disgusted! Clearly some people don't take time to read the details or view the pic's~ All I can say is the coins is a great example of the I.H. Cent I have several but am always looking for more and more lol. I have a decent one from this year with partial liberty and a few scratches~ This be it polished or unpolished is still a fine looking coin in my opinion~ Hope it does well!!!!

OK Haus, get me a link to the exact page where you find that specific price on this coin, this date and this condition. Not joking around, not being sarcastic or rude. I honestly want you to give me a specific page of any book , any website and or price guide and magazine. Your off your rocker if you think this coin is worth a buck! AND I am still trying to figure out why you even bothered commenting if you aren't interested in my coin. Do you think I'm trying to hustle someone or something. I really don't understand people like you. If I was misleading people some how, maybe comments like yours would have some substance but..... unfortunately ...... nodda :)

Just wanted to say, sweeeet IH and I am in awe of your tact and diplomacy when dealing with the Einsteins that seem to have over-run this site lately !!!

I have noticed that the ones spewing random, useless (and unwanted) information, are the ones who never bid on anything !!!???

I also would like to request that you list the guides that you were mentioning, I for one would bid on one !!!

Thanks for the entertainment !!! LOL

You, FatTony, are the "MAN" !!!

Has this coin been washed/cleaned in any way? On the close up shots, there does not seem to be any debris in places one would expect some.
