The listing, ~Mixed Iris~ seeds (15) has ended.

Irises are wonderful garden plants. The word Iris means rainbow. Irises come in many colors. The seeds are a mixture of the photos show above. I am not sure which ones you will get, when blooms die I forget what color they were. LOL My yard is filled with many types and colors of flowers. So I guess you are bidding on a mystery batch, so in the spring you will get a big surprise. I accept PayPal or send two LOOSE U.S. postage "FOREVER" stamps inside a self-addressed envelope -- Don't affix stamps to anything.

The genus Iris has about 200 species and is native to the North Temperate regions of the world. The habitat of irises also varies a lot. Some irises grow in deserts, some in swamps, some in the cold far north, and many in temperate climates. Bearded Iris and Siberian Iris are two of the most common types of irises grown.

You have a gorgeous selection. My question is I have never heard od seeds. They are bulbs, tubular. Would you please take a photo of what you're sending.
Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.

These are photos of the Iris's I have. The seeds are what I collected from these plants but, they are all mixed together so, I don't know what colors you would get or if they would remain that color depending on the soil they are planted in, if it is acidic or alkaline. Acidic soil makes the blooms darker. I gave some dark purple to a friend and her soil must have been more alkaline and they bloomed pink. After the seeds have germinated and grow they turn tubular over time. Before started collecting the seeds, I would have to separate and transplant because they would get so thick. Right now only some of the dark purple and a couple of the mauve have bloomed. The lilac color is almost ready to open up. I also have a few mini's that have bloomed. I live on 23 acres and have something growing everywhere!
