These cute catnip strawberries are made just for you to ensure freshness upon your winning bid. Handmade by me with strong acrylic yarn and stuffed with 100% organic Hartz Catnip, they have been kitty tested and approved. This is a set of three strawberries to be delivered to your door. The bowl they are pictured in is a standard size cereal bowl, so please note these are not small. They are a standard larger size strawberry. Thanks for looking, they are made upon winning to ensure fragrant catnip!

I have a stray cat that I feed and brush, but he doesn't really like toys. Let's see if catnip will get him going

I have made these for a friend that has a cat rescue. His old male cat actually played with the rescue kitties when he brought these into his house! I love making these. :o)

Are these refillable?

They are not, however polyfil and yarn absorb scent quite easily, so I do recommend (after giving them a squeeze several times to smash up the catnip to refresh it) just store them for a day or two in a zip lock baggie with a organza bag full of nip (I provide the bag, but not extra nip) that way they reabsorb the scent and kitty is happy again. Making a crochet refillable one would not only not work well (as yarn loves to stick to velcro) and could also potentially hurt our pets (if they were chewing on a zipper or such). :-)
