you are correct. It is hard to get "perfect" if you wait at the comic store on the day of delivery,...with that being said all of these are really nice with maybe a couple of exceptions with the older ones and I do mean a couple. Most are really really nice. All of my books have been well kept in bags and boards and long boxes. The bags and boards will be removed for shipping yet still protected nicely for the trip.
