This is TRULY an AMAZING find!!!! This Tortoise Shell colored Agate was a big ugly black rock (last pic) Brazil has probably the strangest Calcite rocks to be found due to some of them being radioactive.
These are full of minerals, magnesium , B minerals, calcium, lime, and so many others and are very fragile Removing the surrounding rock is a slow long process, but the end result..well,, you be the judge!

Shipping and Handling paid by me, you pay nothing so please bid generously...Must be Listia verified , no emailed addresses...etc. Again, I work hard polishing and digging these, I do it because I love it and them and take great pride in what I sell. VERY interesting stone!! I have a small rock tumbler & love to polish rocks especialy agates. I have polished many rocks from southern utah. It is an excellent place for rock hunting..Fabulous auction!! Already your fan & watching :)

Hi Susan, I've missed seeing you! Southern Utah is one of my favorite places, good thing I live so close! I decided one year a long time ago that for a vacation we wouldn't go to Alaska, or somewhere Tropical, we would travel our own backyard! There were so many places back then I'd never been to in my own place I grew up, and it's an amazingly gorgeous and strange State.... lol!

Let me make a phone call , but right in front of me in my showcase I have A good sized one cut from the very center of that rock... it's more gray, black blue and brown, but just as gorgeous. I'll call a buddy and see if he still has a chunk at his house. The other 2 will be back I think on Wednesday from Europe!!! xoxo Hang tight..

You are too funny. My wonderful hubby doesn't want a wife unless he hungry ..lol..Utah is a beautiful place where people actualy care about quality of life regardless of religious preference. The scenery is awesome & I have hit the slopes from park city to brian head. I watched the community of Colorado City, Az grow thinking it was retirement village but you can't let one bad apple spoil the bunch. I have found a lot of great stones in the virgin river plus I was always treated very well as a guest of your beautiful state every single time I was there.. If ya can't take the heat, stay out of the fire....I pack my own vino for road trip anyway :)

Have never been to a sundance festival but have gone skiing there and love!! I think Paris is a sweatheart! She is so generous & poised. I did not like how Jay Leno reated her over the Burger King commercial on his show but she handled it well. I could care less about his bentley ..lol..I'd rather sit on my used PT Cruiser than anything he owns..lol..still love this rock :)

Another amazing agate Debby. The banded rings in this one remind of one of those photos of a mirror within a mirror, creating that infinity look. By the way.....how can you tell by looking at the rock when you see it, that there will be such a beauty inside? I read something about the weight. but I'm guessing it is more about the crux or outer composition of the rock. Clues???

I'll send you some pics of them, but they are normally weather beaten, ugly and when you knock on them they sound hollow!!! If you're lucky and while you're looking, if the light hits them just right it will sparkle, if there are any tiny cracks already!!!!!

I lived in Nevada for many years & Utah was my fav hang-out. I even walked/waded the Narrows at Zion Park twice. A large part of my rock collection came from Utah so I know the great quality of the stones. Always looking forward to more of your fabulous listings. Now I'm listing things to win a couple :)

Sometimes people (even me )say some pretty bad things about Utah, like their religious preference, and how everyone thinks all the men have 8 wives and crap like that...
