Description

The listing, 24 or 48 BIG ~Get it NOW~ Stone Jasper Nugget Beads EARTHY Colors & texture! has ended.

Winner receives 24, but all 48 with Get It Now! Genuine stone nugget beads, jasper, BIG (see ruler photo). Get your watch bid in now and come back to Get It Now ~ equivalent to $5-$7 in comparison to gift card prices on Listia, a real bargain!

This is my ONLY lot of these spectacular earthy beads!

Lisita moderators -- if you plan to remove this listing again, please contact me first! I have NO idea why it was removed last week.

I included a few photos of a necklace I made with raw amber nuggets, to give you an idea of what chunky beads look like strung. These jasper beads are MUCH larger and chunkier, and with a different type of texture than amber, but I thought it might help you visualize.

Please see my VAST array of beads, findings and beading supplies on Listia ... LOTS of variety for all you crafty beaders out there!

Free US and Canada shipping too! Please note that I ship on Tuesdays, to combine all wins during the past week. My auctions ending Sunday and Monday nights are frequently very good bargains, be sure to take a look!

I had bid on this auction before and it got pulled. How come?

Apparently because of the donorschoose.org link. Listia suddenly decided that no links are allowed, so one of the moderators was deleting auctions with links. I explained that this is a CHARITY link, not a personal marketing link, so in my relists I've been taking out the "http://www ..." from the link and so far none of my other listings have been deleted.

I don't really want to complain about the moderators, but Listia's moderators are completely volunteer and not compensated in any way. Listia also doesn't seem to train them or give them any oversight, so moderators can pretty much do what they want with no limits. This is the first listing I've had pulled in a long time, but most sellers end up with something that a moderator deletes for no apparent reason. So, I just relisted it ... good luck if you want to win them!

It was frustrating, I had them listed for about three weeks, they had LOTS of bids, and on the last day a moderator took the listing down. I feel for the moderators. I think Listia should compensate moderators, give them ongoing training, and hold them to certain standards. It's a lot of work to be a moderator, and my guess is that Listia is making enough money by now to offer some sort of compensation for them. Lots of people have asked me to become a moderator, and I looked into it, but I spend all my free time on my own listings (and helping lots of Listia members who contact me). So, it's not for me.

I had a similar thing happen to me once, with a piece of software. Never did find out WHY they pulled it, since I'm very good about following the rules (when I know them). Like you, it was pulled on the last day -- just hours before closing. Luckly it was a "one off". Anyway, I sure hope they let you finish out this one!

It just happens sometimes. I get a lot of e-mails from people asking ME why Listia pulled an auction. Best thing to do is ask them, which puts them on alert if they have removed it for no reason. The problem is that once a listing is removed you can't get back at it to relist it, you gotta do it from scratch.
