Description

The listing, Trio of Luxury yarns has ended.

The pink yarn is 40%Wool, 30% Viscose, 20% Angora, and 10% Cashmere. It's a 2ply lace weight, 26 wpi.

The yellow is 45% Angora, and 40% Lambswool, 15% Nylon, and is very soft. It's a 2ply lace weight, 26 wpi.

The teal is 100% Cashmere. It's a 1 ply cobweb weight, and is about 35 wpi. The color for it in the picture is a little bit off; it is more of a teal (see color 0C9 on the color table at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_colors)

Each of the balls of yarn is approximately 30g, for a total of 90g.

This yarn is reclaimed, meaning that it comes from a sweater which was washed, dried, and unraveled. It may have some knots or imperfections.

I have more of all of these yarns. Message me if you are interested in more of this same yarn.

Comes from a smoke-free, cat friendly house.

Would you consider these to now being washable? Do you have more of these?

The garments that these yarns came from all said machine wash on gentle, but I would suggest handwashing instead, just to keep them from felting. Definitely don't put them in the dryer; air dry them instead.
I have a listing up right now for 2 balls of the teal, and have a little more stashed away, as well as about 100g of the yellow and 75g of the pink.

You mentioned having about 100 gm in a secret stash...are you going to

Sure, I can list it. I have a truly enormous yarn collection, and I am divesting myself of it slowly, but if you are interested in the bright yellow, I can put it up today or tomorrow.

Would you know approximate yardage for each?

The pink and yellow are probably around 180 yards each. The teal is probably 250 yards. Those are very rough estimates based on what is average for these weights of yarn.

Thank you! I love reclaimed yarn; I've found that it is the only way to knit with nice yarn when you live on a teacher's salary.
