when sending it CERTIFIED the buyer will have to sign for it and the tracking # will have a address attached to it With just a tracking # the sender could send it to the wrong address with just a tracking # only the city is attaced to it Sending it CERTIFIED protect both the seller and the buyer way more then just a tracking # I was scammed out of 512k credits with just a tracking # so I only bid/GiN with seller that are not afraid to send it CERTIFIED it don't cost much more only a couple $ more
Sorry but I don't think I will... I have a ton of positive feedback and have sent items with much higher value than this... How did Listia not realize that they sent it to the wrong address ? It shows on the tracking number where the package was sent...
can you or will you send them CERTIFIED ? ( so I would have to sign for them when they come in the mail ) to protect both of us a tracking # alone wont protect the buyer
I'd say in brownmichael's case, dabbing in 512k auctions is risky business in general. The fact that anyone would sell 512k worth of something and not supply any additional certification is a bit silly, though. For 512k, I'd probably throw in my old VCR and one of my spare kittens, but that's just me. I'd incur a $50 fee if I had to for that many credits. Auctions can go either way, but I think in his case, the postman and the seller are the ones who messed up. It just makes me wonder why the seller didn't try to retrieve brownmichael's package as best they could. This is free shipping and a smart seller though, I doubt anything will happen.
