JanDavis336 added this info, thanks The Cherokee rose legend names the flower for the tears of the Cherokee squaws that had braves and warriors that died in battle. The chief prayed for relief for the squaws, and from that day on, each tear that a mother cried created a flower. The white flower symbolizes the tear and the gold center symbolizes the gold that was taken from the Indians. Each flower has seven petals for each of the seven Cherokee clans. I will pay the shipping but if you want tracking you will have to handle that through PayPal or send it to me or trust in the mail. Shipping and tracking is getting expensive. Tracking is $1.05 thanks
