Description

The listing, Microsoft USB Wifi Adapter Model MN-510 has ended.

This is a USB wifi adapter (Microsoft MN-510 Model) . It is in good used shape and working condition. You will need to look up the driver for it online so you can use it and be sure it will work with your Windows version. I last used it on Windows XP myself. If you can not look up the driver and install it on your computer, please do not bid. It only takes a couple of minutes to do if you are familiar with that. Feel free to ask any questions and shipping is free to the U.S.A. ! I have a laptop in another listing too. Check it out!

Can you explain how this works?...I'm looking for something that if you have regular internet you plug this in and it give you WiFi from your home internet? And if that's what this is how far does it reach?

It plugs into your PC's usb port and when you install the correct driver for it , it allows you to receive wifi just like a laptop or any other wireless device can. You have to have a wireless router to broadcast your wifi, this just receives it. The range it can pick up from depends on your router, any walls or other obstructions between the router and this adapter. I recommend this for someone who has used a wifi adapter before really. Thanks and hope that helped.

I had only used it with a Windows XP computer. You should google it with the model number and see if you find a driver for it. It may but I only know for certain that it worked with XP from my own experience. If you don't see a driver for Win 7, sometimes you can use "compatibility mode" to install a driver from earlier operating systems but I have never done that myself. Thanks
