This is not a dream catcher, it is a mandella. Also called the Shield of Good Luck. The belief was that hanging one of these in your home would bring you good luck and prosperity. A dream catcher has a web in the circle and filters your dreams when hung over your bed. Good dreams pass through the hole in the center, while bad dreams get caught in the web and burn away in the morning sunshine.
